The autotransformer is a transformer with a single winding that acts as both primary and secondary, allowing the output voltage to be varied proportionally to the input voltage. By varying the transformation ratio, the voltage supplied to the motor is modified, influencing its rotation speed: the higher the voltage, the higher the motor speed, vice versa, by reducing the voltage, the speed is reduced.

The emergency button is easily accessible by the user and is pressed when immediate action is needed to stop the activity in progress and make people and the work environment safe. By pressing the emergency button, the fan will start to operate at maximum speed to extract the smoke and heat generated during the fire.
